This section is to be used for the display of various writings - such as letters, postcards, and diaries - by people who participated in the First World War. As part of its World War 1 Centenary The Heritage Collections is currently undertaking a collection drive to locate, digitize, and transcribe material of this kind held by members of the Upper Hutt community. Items will be uploaded here as they become available.
