Description
Printed in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on July 16, 1997 in an ‘Industrious Upper Hutt’ supplement. Pictured; The red-and-blue wire strainer grips one wire in a corner of the diamond linkage at left. another wire is held in a similar grip on the end of a chain. The hooks on the strainer pull the chain and hold it, one pair of links at a time. The red universal ratchets are used to tighten permanent strainers The bent wore gadgets are used to carry electric-fence insulators, which fit into the loops. There are two legs, which offset the insulators from the fence. The zigzag ends go left and right, and one snaps around a fence's top wire, and the other around the wire below. This is only a small part of the company's output; the article listed hardware for abattoirs, and a wide range of blades for agricultural machinery; sugar-cane in particular. Exports had risen from 25% a few years earlier, to 60%; countries listed were Australia, Fiji, Sumatra, Canada, the U K and France.
