Description
This photograph is part of an album that documents the daily operations of the hospital in its final years. It shows staff members at a garden party thrown at the hospital to welcome Charmaine Hamilton as the new principal nurse. From left to right are Molly Love (member of the volunteer group Silverstream Hospital Women's Auxiliary, also known as the "Pink Ladies"), Jack Smith (Director of Administration), and Doctor Susi Williams (Medical Superintendent). The following caption is printed above the photo in the album: “Remember this day January 1988”.
