On our hill country property where you could walk up Cannon Point and down to Clarkes Creek then along to the dam

It's such a peaceful walk up there, still, from the end of Bridge Road...almost a hidden gem of Upper Hutt!

Loved the short bush walk and hanging out at the dam. Gorgeous spot.

My granddad also help build the dam.

We would walk across the top as kids in the 70 s gripping your toes to the serves as there was always moss on top , and the biggest eels ever McGee almost lost his toe by one blood everywhere aye
