Creator (organisation)Wallaceville Research InstituteHistoryWARC was first known as Wallaceville Animal Research Station.
The 1905 building became a veterinary hospital to horses at Trentham Camp during WWI. At one stage more than 200 horses were being treated or examined per day by WARC staff.
The Hopkirk Building was built in 1941.
The Buddle Block was built in 1973, the first section provided a library, cafeteria, boardroom and administration. In 1978 the second section provided 4 floors of science service and laboratory areas.
