Details
DescriptionThe original farm was a rectangle tilted about 20 degrees, with the Akatārawa Road making an irregular east boundary, and the Akatārawa river cutting off a small piece at the east end. Sydney enlarged the farm by buying Johnsons'; a Johnson farm occupied the north-west corner above the junction of the Akatārawa rivers at Karapoti.
The strewn debris indicates that forest had been recently cleared.
