'It is certainly later than 1918 as far right is my cousin Eda Poulson...the daughter of May and Hector Poulson and granddaughter of Jimmy Hazelwood founder of Hazelwoods.- more likely taken early to mid 40s.'

DescriptionOriginally believed to have been taken between 1914 and 1918, this image shows unidentified children from the Hazelwood family and others engaging in some sort of fundraising. They may have been raising funds in support of the First World War effort but their clothing looks much more like that worn during WWII.
NOTE: Several people commenting on the Heritage Facebook page (see 'Recollections') believe this photo was indeed taken in the 1940s.
