Margaret Piercy-Tautau - "Ian King had a shop in Trentham Camp when we lived at the fire station which was in Camp Rd in those days. 1950s".

DescriptionQuinn's Post staff are pictured outside the hotel with a new Ford Falcon stationwagon, which was donated to the Crippled Children's Society by the Jaycees. Quinn's Post manager Les Tickner (pictured third from right) had raised £600 ($1200) in 12 days for the fundraising effort, and the hotel was the venue for Jaycees president Ted Krammer to hand the car over to Crippled Children's Society president H. E. Young.

The June 1, 1966 'Leader' pictured the president of the Jaycees, Ted Krammer, handing over a new Ford Falcon station wagon to H. E. Young, president of the Crippled Children Society. It was the Jaycees' tenth anniversary year. The presentation had been made at Quinn's Post because manager Les Tickner had managed to raise £600 ($1200) in 12 days. The March 9 'Leader' printed a double picture, of the Quinn's post crowd, and the presentation of the £608 cheque to John Wood.
A grey-scale print was on a noticeboard at the Christmas 2015 'Room at the Inn' dinner, and listed the following people.

Brian Faint,
Percy (Smith?),
Arthur ________,
Stacey Yianakis,
Roy Bentley,
Shorty Wright,
Les Tickner,
Molly Frost,
Trevor Jeffries.
The proprietor was J.F. McCarthy.
