"I remember that hall so well ,with the music room off to the left?"

"yes it does, it looked huge to me playing music on the stage with the school band, that was yonks ago"

"What do you remember of the “No Milk Today” incident? Pretty sure Grub was involved."

"Ha yes ,Grub was nearly expelled for that! Were you there?
I wasn't actually there though. That lark will go down in the Schools history I reckon .."

"I remember when a radio station broadcast live in that hall during a school disco/ dance one night. Would have been around 1971. 2ZM maybe."

"oh yeah. Well you wouldn't have had far to walk to school then if you were at Heretaunga, lol. I went to Maidstone Intermediate too. Good school it was as I recall it. Yeah we would hang out a bit at that Dairy/Milk bar over the road from the Heretaunga College entrance. That was our "Happy days" go to cafe back in the day. It had a couple of booth table seats and a juke box."

"we loved that milk bar ..we’d ride there play records and eat strawberry ice creams ..then there were the tennis matches and of course the pool hall"

"Hey Steve do you remember that amusement arcade place that was upstairs above the Trentham shops premises ? They had pool tables and differant things up there for the restless youth."
