PhotographerMike AamodtDescriptionThe bank first operated from half a tiny shop on the north side of Main Street, then from a shop at No. 104; Kiwi Butchery was on the corner, as No. 102.
Both buildings were demolished, and a reinforced two-storey building was opened in 1957.
It was demolished in the 1984-1985 summer, and the new building opened early in 1986.

The building was offered for sale in February 1999; the BNZ would continue as tenants.
