    "Shutes used to live upstairs, it was a real[ly] nice apartment in those days. They had the butcher shop in the Queens Chambers." (Rose Vailima)

    "My brother was apprenticed to George Bennett, the building contractor involved in the construction of Queen's Chambers." (Brian Pearce)

    "The Duck Inn was in Queen's Chambers... where Gordon's Pet Shop is in the photo. There was a sort of foyer outside and the door was on an angle, not directly on the street." (Fiona GIlliver)
