HistoryThe November 21 1994 'Leader' announced the change of name, as being a more accurate description of the group's operations.
'Leader', November 4, 1980; the Operatic Society has acquired the former Gospel Hall, 26A Moonshine Road, and could store their equipment, rehearse there, and run training workshops.
February 10, 1981 'Leader'; the building had been designated a church; it was changed to 'hall', allowing the Operatic Society to use it for rehearsals; access and parking for eight cars to be surfaced and marked; planting strips to be formed; sound baffle fence opposite rear side entrance; no other organisations, no socials, rehearsals to end at 10, all clear 10-30.
