DescriptionThe four panels marked with a cross and 'Lest we forget' were originally on the four sides of a memorial placed under the eastern side of the council chamber, not far beyond the top of the handrail; this memorial replaced the one which had stood at the Maidstone Memorial Baths.
The panels were incorporated in the larger plinth needed for the statue of the girl and her grandfather.Date Taken16th January 2015
