Some or all of the ground floor was used by the Queen-Street- corner YMCA gymnasium. The Wellington YMCA went into receivership just before Easter 1992, and five gymnasiums closed. Instructors Carolyn Wahapa and Debbie Houston opened their 'No Limits Aerobics and Fitness Centre, using both buildings, in June 1992. They closed in June 1996.
When Enersen's Mitre 10 first came to Upper Hutt in early June 1984 they used No. 9 as temporary premises until their new building at No. 21 was ready, in mid-July.Date Taken25th December 2012
