No. 144; Buttercup Bakery and Café had disappeared in the 2015/2016 White Pages. Marleyz Cafe & Catering had been there in 2013. John Kinzett's Traditional Candy Company which succeeded it had also closed; another cafe, with no name displayed, opened in February 2016; Trudy's owner was named as Trudy Preston in the February 10 'Leader', and the name's now on the veranda.
The Candy Company appeared in the news in march 2016; a barista had complained about the way she was dismissed, and the Employment Relations Authority had found in her favour. The company had been struck off on February 23.
148; TJ's Barbers (est. 2008); they mov3ed to No. 124, the former ANZ Bank building, in June 2017.
