DescriptionOriginally Joe King's greengrocery; bought by Jina's in 1980.
In 1991they rebuilt No. 3, and the former McKenzies building I Main Street, and temporarily moved into No. 3 while the wooden house that occupied No. 5 was removed and a new store built; this building was the result. Jina's closed it, but stayed on in a 1999 store and distribution centre in Lower Hutt.
An Upper Hutt Performing Arts Centre advertised its address as 5 Geange Street in the September 29, 2004 'Leader'. Founding date unknown. Name now appears in current 'Anita's Dance Academy & Upper Hutt Performing Arts Centre'.Date Taken25th December 2012
