191; Chaplow's Custom Picture Framers and Medal Mounters were the first in New Zealand to qualify to join the Guild of Master Craftsmen, in 2015. Andy Chaplow sold his photo business in 2000, and later sold the framing business to Bridget Jones.
191A; Colorpace Photolab. A "Colorpace is coming' advertisement appeared in a 1981 'Leader', followed by one on August 25, describing what was on offer. They started at 81 Main Street, and were open 7 to 7, so that commuters could deposit films and receive prints on the same day; normal service was 'in by 10, out by 5'. They used Kodak equipment and paper, and supplied film.
