DescriptionCousins Allen and Ken Ng opened King's Pharmacy at the left (western) end in the second week of April 1982; Ken had formerly owned King's Pharmacy in Lambton Quay.
Pauline Bennett's 'Cliffs Electrical & Lighting' opened at the right-hand end on April 15, 1982, after moving from Maidstone Mall.
The Upper Hutt Foodbank used the building for eight years, until it was sold to the Salvation Army in February 2003; they opened there on May 24; the Foodbank had moved into a Council building in Logan Street; the Community Gallery was about to be succeeded by Expressions.Date Taken25th December 2012
