DescriptionWarehouse Stationery occupied the eastern end of the building; initially as far as this doorway(?) Later, they cut back by maybe one-third.
The four ground-floor bays to the left of Warehouse Stationery became part of a Lifestyle gymnasium (No. 7) in February 2016.
4 Queen Street, across the road, housed T(rystin) L Booth & Co from June 1980. Robert Jackson joined him in 1981, and was offered a partnership in 1982, forming the Booth's Glass and Resene Color Shop in September. In November 1984 they crossed the road to this space in November 1984; their premises, like LifeStyle's, occupied the first two bays of the building.
7-9 was occupied by Steve Cochrane's ;Sister Midnite' record sales and 'Lightning Posters', selling and laminating maps, posters and postcards, in 1989. Warehouse Stationery moved in in September 1992.
Maidstone Furnishers occupied the whole building when they moved in in April, 1974; they were succeeded by Hamilton's Inlook Furniture in August 1983.Date Taken25th December 2012
