DescriptionDr Dunn's Queen Street Surgery had been in 10 Criterion Lane, above Lagan's pharmacy, and before that, at 3 Queen Street. In 2016 he and Dr Narayan of Fergusson Drive Surgery combined with two pharmacists, Doug Fargher and John MacDonnell, to set up a combined practice, Queen Street Medical, at 37-39 Main Street.
No. 7 was converted to a LifeStyle gymnasium, replacing one in Goodshed Road; the gymnasium occupies four bays of the ground floor; the rest is Warehouse Stationery.
Although the conversion was incomplete, Cory Jane, his wife Amie and business partner Emma Bunny held an open day on Sunday February 21, 2016, with two of Cory's team-mates, T J Perenara and Julian 'The Bus' Savea on hand; pictures in the February 24 'Leader'.
4 Queen Street, across the road, housed T(rystin) L Booth & Co from June 1980. Robert Jackson joined him in 1981, and was offered a partnership in 1982, forming the Booth's Glass and Resene Color Shop in September. In November 1984 they crossed the road to this space in November 1984; their premises occupied the first two bays of the building.
Maidstone Furnishers occupied the whole building when they moved in in April, 1974.Date Taken25th December 2012
