DescriptionIt was St Hilda's Day, and the church was celebrating its 90th anniversary of its consecration, and the 25th anniversary of its move from Main Street to Cruickshank Road.
Margaret was one of the oldest parishioners; the 'Leader' called Jake, 5, a 'new kid on the block'.
The picture on the cake was taken looking north-east from Wakefield Street.
