A smaller version was printed on October 11, 1983, when the extension was announced; the edges were cropped, and definition was generally poorer.
The article mentioned that the extra 490 square metres would allow membership to be increased. There would be a new kitchen, bar and lounge, restaurant, and a sheltered outdoor area. It would be a design-and-build operation by Mainzeal Development.
