Not to be a spoil sport but that's not a Norton.. While the army did use the Norton 16H model that isn't one.. Apart from the fact it has a 3 stay rear sub frame and fishtail muffler it clearly has the name Ariel on the tank.. My best guess it's a late 1920's sidevalve 500.. They dropped the third stay in the 30's..
