The Upper Hutt Herb Society newsletter, known as Upper Hutt Herbal Thymes since July 1986, has been produced monthly (10 times a year) since September 1977. It includes information for members on meetings, subscriptions, group activities, additions to the society’s library and other matters of interest; things to do in the garden that month; recipes using herbs; information on growing and using particular herbs; a recap of the talk given at the previous month’s meeting; and contact details for the society.

This issue includes a design the society produced for a herb garden that was built by the council behind Upper Hutt City Library. The garden was removed when the library was extended in 2010.
