The Upper Hutt Herb Society newsletter, known as Upper Hutt Herbal Thymes since July 1986, has been produced monthly (10 times a year) since September 1977. It includes information for members on meetings, subscriptions, group activities, additions to the society’s library and other matters of interest; things to do in the garden that month; recipes using herbs; information on growing and using particular herbs; a recap of the talk given at the previous month’s meeting; and contact details for the society.

This 100th issue of the newsletter features tips from previous newsletters, and mentions the upcoming 10th-anniversary reunion to be held on 19 September. It also lists the previous (and current) presidents: Denise Brown, Kathy Tuckermein, Cicely McKenzie, Judy Whiffen and Monika Smith.
