‘Hutt Valley Angling club Celebrating 30 Years; September 1975 – September 2005’ pamphlet. A brief club history obtained from copies of the club newsletter, by Grahame Kitchen.

The Hutt Valley Angling Club was established in early 1975 after a group of keen anglers placed an advertisement in The Leader. Initially 36 people came together and trips were organised to the Wairarapa, Pahiatua, and later to Taupō.
