Doug Morrison "Used to swim there nearly every day as a kid"
Sandra Beckitt "Swam there often in the Summer. However, the water in that pool was colder than the Hutt river.
Colin Rolfe "When Jimmy Page retired from the police he looked after the pool and Davis field."
Christine Dickinson "All summer, we would walk over every morning, home for lunch and back in the afternoon. There wasn’t a life guard in sight."
Paul Liggins "Maidstone Pools also gone. Spent quite a number of summers in my early childhood there. Kinda feels like a part of me got deleted from the universe when they shut it down, filled it in and made a skate park out of it"
