"I grew up just below the grand old lady in the 1950’s. The river was Chrystal clear in those far off days and the levels a lot higher too. But this is a lovely pic nevertheless. Thank you!"

"People used to jump off it but it was dangerous. I'm sure it was there when we moved to Totara Park in 1975. There was a dairy people went to in Maoribank. Totara Park had a tiny hut as a dairy and you tethered your horses outside."
