"[The] teacher was a painter too! I have one of her iris paintings."
Lou Mangin replied: "Very artistic, I have a placemat she made with a painting of trifle complete with recipe."
Kim Allmand later added: "Beryl Yeoman was the junior teacher then went on to be principal. She did water colour paintings, mostly of flowers, also cards and wrapping paper - she's now retired and living in the Nelson/Marlborough district."
