By: Brian J. Pearce28th Jan 2014 11:23PMThis building was constructed in 1942 for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand who used it for Note Office operations until 1972. An incinerator facility in the yard to the rear of the building was in regular use over the years to dispose of used banknotes.
