A greyscale image was printed in the 'Leader' on April 11, 1989, with the list of names; it was repeated next week wth the article on the events.
A portrait of Carole-Anne was printed in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on January 4, 1994. She had sold her Star Dance Academyto Lower Hutt dance teacher Katrina-Marie Robinson, 20, who was due to graduate from the New Zealand School of Dance at the end of 1995.

Carol had been teaching dance for 35 years, produced 30 end-of-year recitals, and had choreographed productions for Upper Hutt Musical Theatre for 18 years. She would still teach her 16 competition pupils on a casual basis, as a hobby.
She was moving to a job in the National Bank, in Wellington.
