DescriptionThe 'Leader' printed weekly 'Christian comments' by various members of the Ministers' Association; this greyscale image of Craufurd Murray appeared on his June 15 and later contributions' headings.
The July 28, 1981 'Leader' printed a picture of him with his wife; he was 37, and had been vicar of a parish in Winkley, Ripon, North Yorkshire; they and their two children were expected in August. Archdeacon V C Venimore had retired in April, after 47 years; Canon G Stote Blandy of Waikanae had conducted services in the interregnum.
