Subsequently, president Bill Baillie and Brian Lummis both stood for president, and vice-president Tony Bell and Thomas Jones for vice-president; when names were drawn out of a hat, both incumbents lost.
Tony had been a board member from 1980, or earlier.
A Tony Bell and his wife Sue started A La Carte Delicatessen in Maidstone Mall on February 27, 1981.
