DescriptionA close-up of these three bollards was printed in greyscale in the 'Leader' on December 10, 1991. It must have been taken later, as the posts had reflective strips attached.
The 'Jungle Drum' gossip feature said that their pointed and grooved tops had been removed for fear that they might be deemed "phallic images"; there had not been any complaints.
