DescriptionPrinted in greyscale in the 'Leader' on August 28, 1996. By November, Pak'n Save was usung the words 'Utterly uniquely Upper Hutt' in their advertisements.
The December 12 , 2001 'Leader' printed a version where 'A great place to live' replaced 'Utterly uniquely'; the council was already using the phrase in its annual and strategic plans. It was adopted formally in May 2002.
A change was suggested early in 2002; the May 8 'Leader' confirmed that the new wording would be 'A great place to live'. the image printed was pure black-and-white. To see that version, click on the second thumbnail, below.
A version with the words 'Life. Leisure. Live it!' appeared in the 2016-2017 Annual Plan insert which came with the March 23, 2016 "Leader'.
