DescriptionThe film, 'Water' told of a house gradually filling with water from a leaking pipe. It was filmed over 14 days in the winter school holidays in 2002, with the water scenes shot in a Whitby school swimming pool, and later in the Kilbirnie aquatic centre; Paige, then 7, had spent most of 14 days in increasingly deep cold water. For her, the best part had been working with live animals; a hawk, fish and cat.
The festival seems to have run from about 2002-2005.
The film also won 'best short film' at the Wet West festival, and had been shown at 13 festivals, worldwide, including the Sundance festival.
The 15-minute film was written by Anthony Clyde, directed by Chris Graham, and produced by Karl Zohrab. Goodlife Films' next production was 'Sione's Wedding', again directed by Chris Graham; much more widely-known.
