DescriptionBoth were 12. Brendan came from Silverstream and St Brendan's School, Ricky from Trentham and Fergusson Intermediate.
They had been taking recreational classes for 18 months, and then joined a competition class.
In the Wellington championships they beat all the 'pros'; only .003 of a point separated them.
Pandas Gym, at Trentham racecourse, had normally only entered girls in competition.
