DescriptionPrinted in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on November 19, 1991.
Mark Rammell had started Plant Express in King Charles Drive, and because it was somewhat off the beaten track, had asked the Automobile association to erect two 'Garden centre' signs, and had paid the cost.
The city council received a complaint; Mr Rammell pointed out that there were other signs such as the one pictured.
The council's policy and planning committee would be considering the issue.
