Kiri Kara - "Sophie Tukukino yep that's Eric Woods and Shelly Kake is the young girl".
Yvonne McLean - "Peter Mikaere is standing by Bill Kake".
Shellie Hanley - "...that’s my mum and dad and brother in that photo Willie Kake, Muriel Kake and Paul Kake. I was born in 1967 so I would’ve been a small child my brother Paul is 4 years older than me ??? lovely to see that memory I’ve never seen it before but have very fond memories of all the aunties and uncles of Māwai Hakona I still have my mums Māwai Hakona group photo, piupiu, bodice, headband. Both mum and dad are passed now, thank you so much for sharing that beautiful memory xox".
Paul Kake - "Wow Dad looks fit and young and mum looks happy and cold. I’m still trying to remember the day. I look about 8 or 9 there which would be around 1972.
Good photo, thank you".
