She had been running the Colleen Warren School of Dance for 14 years, and would be dancing the So Queen and an Andrew Lloyd Webber medley in the Lower Hutt Little Theatre; it would be their tenth production.
Her daughter Wendy Jane had been picked to dance with Rudolph Nureyev in 1987, and had also danced with New Zealand Ballet as Clara in the Nutcracker that year. In 1993 she attained her Advanced Royal Academy of Dancing major exam and received 93 out of 100 in her New Zealand Association of Modern Dance exam, and with fellow stud3ent Lila Hall was awarded an LA Danceforce Scholarship. Wendy was now teaching alongside her mother.
In addition to ballet, her school offered jazz, funk, contemporary, character and IDTA (International Dance Teachers' Association).
In early 1984 and 1986 the Colleen Warren School of Dancing was advertising the Carol-Anne Moynihan Dance Academy, Merton Street, as its Upper Hutt address. there was no similar advertisement in 1983.Date TakenNovember 1992Geotagnot specified
