The owner of the mall was named as Ganson Management.
Two pictures of a previous proposal had been printed in the March 18, 2015 'Leader', with the Mall owner named as Andrew Budge. Those views were drawn looking south-east and west; this new version is drawn looking west from Logan Street, with Ashford Lane on the left and Logan Street crossing the foreground; the buildings at left would be the backs of Main Street shops replacing the fire-damaged Hannahs building on the corner of Logan Street, and the Hallensteins building next door, which had been burnt out in 2007.
The largest of the single-storey buildings would face both Main Street and Ashford Lane; the others would face just Ashford Lane. 3 retail sites covering 650 square metres were being developed at this stage; by June the side walls and roof were up, and design was waiting for retail tenancies to be decided.
The project would take five months and cost $1.75 million; Ganson had previously been allocated $500 000 from a $2.3 million council 'encouragement of future CBD development' fund.
