Three pictures by Chris Wilson and three by Dave Stokes were printed; one in colour. All are in the collection, but this one, titled 'Despair' is the only one scanned. The clothes were chosen by the sisters.
A new mural had been painted in September 1993 and was replaced in 1997.
An earlier mural on marine life, designed by Peter Newman, had been painted by 1980-1981 student holiday workers and volunteers; Elizabeth Park, Michael Corbett, Peter Newman, Stephen Armstrong and Mike Russell were pictured in action in the February 3, 1981 'Leader'. Another picture showed Peter with students Vivienne Colegrove, Robyn Denne and John Stevens.
Work on building the subway had started in 1978; an article and picture in the September 19 'Leader' said completion was expected early in the new year.Date TakenJune 1994
