The panel had been carved by Aaron Forbes, a former pupil of Jock McEwen; it had taken four months. It had been blessed at a dawn ceremony by ministers George Cotton and Rita Walker, from Ōrongomai Marae.
The article mentioned that Inland Revenue's 3500-square-metre building had been Shed 26, on the Wellington waterfront; it had 300 permanent staff and added 220 temporary workers from May to July.
