DescriptionPrinted in colour in the 'Leader' on May 22, 1995.
Several artists were asked to submit designs for a set of ten stamps featuring farm animals; pigs were mandatory, as this would be the year of the pig. Joanne's designs, in acrylic, water colour and colour, were chosen, and the ten 40-cent stamps would be issued in September. Joanne is holding a set of five; the second showed sheep, deer, horses, cattle and goats.
She had shot three rolls of film at Staglands and used reference books; the backgrounds were her own. She had also designed the first-day cover and first-day rubber stamp.Date TakenMay 1995Geotagnot specified
