DescriptionBetty Boyes had been a volunteer for 36 years, starting before the first opening above the Red Robin Tea Rooms in Benge's Building, in 1952;
Malcolm Gilloch, Upper Rotary president, had presented gifts and $1500 towards archive work;
Margaret Waterfield ran the library's housebound service; Rotary had presented $1000 worth of talking books.
A greyscale image was printed in the 'Leader' on August 2, 1988.
