DescriptionThe Dominion Federation of Milk Vendors had started 'Homelink', intended to give customers a wider range of products; members had taken on delivering the 'Leader'.
Plastic and cardboard packaging had been introduced in 1986, and from September 1, 1987, supermarkets could buy milk and sell it.
This greyscale image was printed in the 'Leader' on October 25, 1988, with one of Totara Park's Steve Quinn. John Clemens had appeared on October 11, and Joe Serci on the 18th, and Bob Cumming and Dave Clyma were seen on November 1.
The series started in mid-October, and ended on November 29 (or possibly later); the final advertisement (Steve Quinn, again, with a different logo) was only 6 cm high, the previous one was 20 cm.
Only seven original prints survive; Warren Poston and his son, Yvonne and Tony Macauley, Kevin Belsham, Robert Cumming, John Clemens, Dave Clyma, and Susan Burton, who delivered groceries and Tupperware, not milk.
