Details
DescriptionTwo views were printed in the February 19, 1985 'Leader'. The first stage would see seventeen specialty shops of 85 to 185 square metres grouped around a courtyard, and should be completed in November, when work on a 1675-square-metre supermarket would start, with completion in March 1986.
The original image was incomplete; the left-hand side was too close to the binding for a flat-bed scanner. This image comes from a second copy of the 'Leader', which came from a stapled set passed to the library when the 'Leader' closed its Upper Hutt office in 2017.
