DescriptionPrinted in the 'Leader' on December 3, 1985; Whitcoulls had just moved from the corner of Main and Logan streets.
No Frills was a 'food barn', and the former Hazelwoods grocery department (I think; Don McLeod).
Ballentynes had moved in earlier in 1985;
Michael Gibbs had acquired furniture and Fisher and Paykel whiteware, as Hazelwoods Home Traders;
Trev and Pam Harrison were proprietors of the Gold Room Coffee Lounge;
The only Warnocks advertisement printed said 'Warnocks for Izona' against a partial United States flag.
