Description150 Standard 3 and 4 pupils had been studying the Middle Ages for four weeks; parents were invited to watch the culminating performances, which included an archery tournament with home-made bows, a justice scene complete with stocks, tumblers and jesters, and a banquet of wholemeal bread, cheese, chicken, apples and 'tankards' of cordial.
