Work on the $9-million-plus project would commence in April. The section from Silverstream to Moonshine, including the new bridge, would be the total responsibility of the National Roads Board and Ministry of Works; from Moonshine to Maoribank was the city council's, for design, planning, and letting of tenders.
The article said black spots indicated points where the bypass would connect with city streets; in fact, the spots were red.
